Breeding rooms: Linear temperature control for microbiological storage

ThermoTEC breeding rooms (incubator rooms) have been specially designed for storage in microbiology. The intelligent control of the technical components by the programmable logic controller (PLC) from Siemens enables a linear temperature curve. The timing of the electrical resistance heating also ensures particularly homogeneous air distribution within the room.

Thanks to the modular design, the breeding rooms can be adapted precisely to the spatial conditions. Free-standing or mobile shelving systems ensure the best possible storage volume. A redundant design of the temperature control technology increases reliability in continuous operation. In the event of a malfunction, a changeover from system A to system B takes place. Furthermore, the two systems are switched regularly after operating hours in order to achieve even utilization of both systems.
