Temperature shock chambers

Temperature shock test chambers with fixed test chamber

The temperature shock test chambers of the TSA series can be used to perform both 2- and 3-zone shock tests. The temperature range extends from -70 °C to +200 °C, depending on the model up to +300 °C (optional). Thanks to the new eco mode, the system heats and cools optimally and is therefore highly energy efficient.

The test chamber door can be opened vertically to reveal the entire test chamber. This makes it easy to load and remove samples. The user controls the system via a touch panel with graphic display and can access 40 freely programmable memory locations as well as 20 international test standards that are already permanently stored.

ESPEC offers extra-large temperature shock test chambers with a usable volume of up to 11,000 liters for testing particularly large and/or heavy test specimens such as lithium-ion batteries or flat panel displays. The test chambers can be driven under with a pallet truck, which makes it easy to insert heavy test specimens.

Discover the special Features:

Hot chamber up to +200 °C / +220 °C / 300 °C
Fixed test chamber loadable between 50 kg and 300 kg and more

FAQs

Do the systems work in accordance with the standards for the usual shock tests?
In general, the systems are designed for all common temperature shock tests. As the load quantity, pre-tempering and holding time are decisive for these tests, we can carry out individual load simulations and modify the systems if required.
What are the differences / advantages compared to lift car systems?
The fixed test chamber means that the inserted test specimen is no longer moved, which not only makes electrical contacting via the side walls very easy, but also means that the electrical cables can be kept very short. In addition, significantly greater loads can be applied as they no longer have to be lifted/lowered. This eliminates the mechanical load on these systems and there is no wear and tear and less maintenance.
