Three walk-in climate chambers are available at the Weilburg site. Depending on their size offering space for up to 30 Euro pallets. In addition, the laboratory also has several climate chambers with a test space volume of up to 1750 liters. All appliances are calibrated and qualified. They cover the standard climates according to the ICH guideline and can also be converted and qualified for "special climates".

Thanks to our many years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, we are familiar with the high requirements of GMP. Our climate chambers are equipped with a self-sufficient data acquisition system and are regularly maintained and calibrated. In addition, our climate chambers are characterized by their efficient operation coupled with a very homogeneous air distribution. When designing our facilities, we have focused on very high energy efficiency.

For example, ultrasonic humidifiers are used for most operating points and a separate register in the air-calmed room is used for dehumidification.

The ThermoTEC climate chambers cover a temperature range from 5 °C to 60 °C and humidity range from 20 % RH to 80 % RH (depending on dew point).

In addition, a steam humidifier is also available for higher climate requirements.
Our climate chambers are also available for conditioning containers, packaging or packaging components in accordance with ASTM D4332.

As an accredited testing laboratory, we offer a wide range of tests and test procedures
