Hettich Benelux PRC 1700 WL and PRC 3200 WL plant growth chambers for all common experiments in plant cultivation
Due to their excellent product properties, the growth chambers are ideally suited for in-vivo and in-vitro plant cultivation and seed germination experiments. The plant growth chambers are very easy to load thanks to their double-door design without a center bar. A growth area of 0.8 m² is available per shelf, meaning that the PRC 1700 WL and PRC 3200 WL offer a lot of space with a small installation area. The test cabinets are equipped with energy-saving, height-adjustable LED light modules. With 100 % uniform illumination 5 cm below the LEDs, 99.9 % of the work area is evenly covered with light. The very homogeneous light distribution without "dark corners" allows efficient cultivation on several levels. The preconditioned air is blown evenly into the growing room via a perforated supply air wall installed on the rear wall of the growing room. This results in low air velocities which, in combination with the horizontal air flow, prevent the nutrient media and plants from drying out.
