We look back with great pleasure on our 3rd ThermoTEC Practical Days, which took place in October at our company headquarters in Weilburg. The event was a resounding success and provided an excellent platform for exchange between experts and key users in the field of environmental simulation.
In total, we welcomed numerous participants interested in the current challenges and developments in testing laboratories. Our speakers presented informative talks on a variety of topics. A central theme was "Moisture-Robust Electronics," focusing on failure mechanisms, requirements, and quality testing. The discussion on new approaches to weathering ADAS sensors generated significant interest and showcased the innovative strength of our industry.
The K-15 wetting test was also thoroughly addressed, highlighting the competence development of environmental simulation laboratories through various wetting tests. Additionally, exciting insights into maritime specifications and the fundamentals of corrosion testing with harmful gases were provided. The topics of solar simulation in climate chambers and virtual testing significantly expanded the scope of the event.
Special attention was also given to custom solutions for temperature and climate control as well as the durability of coatings and materials. The lively participation in the discussion rounds reflects the strong interest in the presented content and the desire for further exchange among professionals.
